Israeli Developer to invest $2 Billion in Jaipur

Fishman Holdings, one of Israel's largest private investment groups, has plans to invest $2 billion in a project in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The plan includes a 40,00,000 sq. metre township which will include commercial space, high-tech space, offices and residential complexes.
Mondon Investments, the real estate firm's subsidiary, has bought a 600-acre plot in the city for approx. Rs.430 crores and is likely buy more land.

DLF & HINES compete for Railway land in Delhi

DLF Ltd. and Hines are among developers that may bid to build hotels, offices and shops around New Delhi's railway station as the city prepares to host the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
Indian Railways is seeking bids by Jan. 15 to redevelop a quarter of its 86 hectares (212 acres) of land in the capital. The site is worth about $2.5 billion, according to data compiled by Cushman & Wakefield Inc.

Business units are looking for space in suburbs due to an increased demand for office space in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.
